The agenda for the evening will be as follows:
• Each candidate will have a couple of minutes to introduce themselves.
• Each candidate will answer a number of pre-determined questions. There will be a time limit for each answer.

The Candidate Forum will be informational only. There will be no audience participation. The forum will also be broadcast live on KJEL radio and myozarksonline.com.

Each year YMCA volunteers and staff come together in February to raise funds for financial aid for children and families through the Strong Kids campaign. No one is turned away because they can’t pay.

The Strong Kids Financial Aid program makes funds available to assist those in need.

The Lake of the Ozarks Chapter of SCORE is pleased to announce that Dick Hobbs is now the Vice President and Branch Manager for SCORE’s Lebanon Office. Mr. Hobbs has been has been a SCORE member and business counselor since 2009. He has a BS degree from Illinois State University and a Master’s Degree from George Washington University. He attained the rank of Colonel while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for over 28 years. He is currently CEO of MS Investments and is an avid volunteer in several community organizations.

Mr. Hobbs will manage the operations of SCORE’s Lebanon branch. This office serves small businesses in Laclede, Pulaski and surrounding counties. Other SCORE business counselors in the Lebanon Office include Tim Blake, Casey Buckles, Walter Mitchko, and Carl Jarrett. The Lebanon Office was founded 7 years ago by Ralph Stonebraker and Tim Blake. Mr. Blake has served as Vice President and Branch Manager since its opening. SCORE recognizes Mr. Blake for his leadership in starting and managing the Lebanon office.

SCORE provides free business counseling to both existing small businesses and individuals seeking to start-up a small business, provides low cost business management workshops and conducts business roundtables. We are also seeking additional SCORE volunteers. On April 12th AUSA, Committee of Fifty, Friends of the Fort, Lake Support the Fort and Phelps for the Fort will be offering a tour of Ft. Leonard Wood beginning at 8:45 am and ending at 2:30 pm.

We are excited to be able to offer the community this opportunity to tour Ft. Leonard Wood and witness the transformation that have impacted our communities in so many postive ways over the years.

The tour will be leaving from the Waynesvile-St. Robert Chamber Office, located in the lower level of the Visitor’s Center at 137 St. Robert Blvd, Ste. B in St. Robert, as always please remember to park in the back of the building.

Lunch will be provided by AUSA during the tour.
